SUA chooses the Goupil G4 hybrid for stadium maintenance

At the Sporting Union Agen Lot-et-Garonne stadium in Agen, maintenance and upkeep demand precision, responsiveness and organisation. To meet these requirements, the teams have opted for an electric utility vehicle: the G4, which has become indispensable in their daily operations.

A vehicle used 7 days a week 

Christophe Nadal, Stadium Maintenance Coordinator, and his team use their Goupil G4 every day of the week.

The vehicle is used for:

  • Cleaning and keeping the facilities tidy
  • Technical maintenance 
  • Transporting equipment 
  • Collecting waste
  • Setting up equipment (barriers, fridges, sports gear...)

Covering an average of 120 km per week, the Goupil also accompanies the teams during training sessions to transport sports equipment. A specially adapted hose system even allows players' water bottles to be filled directly on the pitch.

A two-in-one utility vehicle  

SUA opted for a mixed-use G4, equipped with a tipping bed and a high-pressure washer. This configuration allows for efficient cleaning of changing rooms, stands, meeting rooms, bins and outdoor areas. 

Without this equipment, a trailer with a petrol-powered pressure washer would have been required. Today, everything is directly integrated into the vehicle: a significant time saving and a real boost in comfort for the teams.

Time saved and organisation guaranteed

Before the arrival of the Goupil G4, teams had to carry their tools on foot around the stadium grounds: a significant loss of time and a source of fatigue.

Since acquiring the G4:

  • Travel has been optimised
  • Work organisation is smoother
  • Teams have become more efficient

The maintenance team (4 people split between morning and afternoon shifts) has naturally adapted its organisation around the vehicle.
